Terms of Use

These terms govern access to and use of Invos, including the app, public pages, beta features, and related services.

Who We Are

Invos is currently operated by Haxlab Digital Inc., a company based in British Columbia, Canada. References to "Invos," "we," "us," and "our" mean Haxlab Digital Inc. and, where applicable, its successors, assigns, affiliates, or future operating entity.

Acceptance and Eligibility

By creating an account, joining a workspace, accessing the app, or using any Invos service, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you use Invos for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

Invos is for professional service providers and business use only. You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and you must be able to enter binding agreements.

Development Status and Availability

Invos is under active development. Features, workflows, integrations, and availability may change as the product evolves. Beta, preview, or early-access features may be incomplete, change, pause, or be removed.

Invos is Canada-first and may expand to the United States and other markets over time. Availability of specific features may depend on region, account settings, third-party providers, or local legal and compliance requirements.

Accounts and Organization Access

  • Users are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for all activity under their account.
  • Organization owners and admins are responsible for invited users, team access, role assignments, permissions, customer records, and workspace settings.
  • Users must provide accurate account and business information and keep it reasonably current.
  • Users must notify Invos if they suspect unauthorized account access or misuse.

Use of the Service

Invos is provided for business workflows such as managing quotes, approvals, work, invoices, communications, payment status, customer records, and related documents. Invos is not designed for emergency, life-safety, medical, legal-deadline, payroll-critical, or other mission-critical systems where failure could cause serious harm.

Invos does not provide legal, tax, accounting, financial, or payment compliance advice. Users should consult qualified advisors for those matters.

Customer Data, User Content, and Documents

Users retain responsibility for the business records, customer information, uploaded files, logos, attachments, quote terms, invoice terms, payment instructions, and communications they create or upload in Invos. Users must have the rights, permissions, notices, and legal basis required to use that information in the service.

Invos helps generate quotes, invoices, PDFs, payment links, emails, records, reminders, summaries, and related workflow outputs from user-provided information. Users are responsible for reviewing accuracy, pricing, taxes, terms, customer details, and legal suitability before sending or relying on them.

Subscriptions, Fees, Taxes, and Cancellation

  • Invos is expected to charge subscription fees. Subscription terms, billing periods, renewal terms, and cancellation details will be disclosed in the plan, order, checkout flow, or written agreement.
  • Subscriptions may auto-renew unless canceled according to the applicable plan or checkout terms.
  • Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated in a plan, order, checkout flow, or written agreement.
  • Fees are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise. Users are responsible for applicable taxes, duties, levies, and similar charges.
  • Invos may change pricing or plans with notice before material pricing changes apply to an existing subscription.
  • Users may cancel, but cancellation does not remove responsibility for unpaid fees, disputes, prior transactions, retained records, or legal, accounting, tax, security, or audit obligations.

Payments and Processor Flows

Invos may allow users to send payment-enabled invoices or payment links to their customers. Payment features may be provided through Stripe or another payment processor. Processor-hosted flows, including card, bank, mandate, PAD, ACSS, or other payment authorization workflows, may be governed by the processor's own terms, privacy policy, and compliance requirements.

For processor-managed flows such as PAD or ACSS mandates, the processor's hosted or native flow may control the payment authorization record. Invos may store related status, identifiers, timestamps, invoice references, and limited payment metadata.

Users are responsible for their prices, taxes, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, customer authorizations, and compliance obligations unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. Invos may introduce transaction or payment-related platform fees later, but only as disclosed before they apply.

Quote Acceptance and Signature Records

Invos may support quote acceptance, electronic signatures, signed quote versions, payment-agreement references, and related audit records. These features are intended to support business quote acceptance and recordkeeping, not to replace legal advice or every possible electronic signature platform requirement.

Users are responsible for deciding whether an electronic acceptance, signature, or record is appropriate for their transaction and jurisdiction. Invos may store signer name, signer email, signature or acceptance timestamp, accepted document version, quote ID or reference, IP address, user agent or device metadata, acceptance event history, and a generated signed PDF or locked snapshot.

When a payment agreement or mandate is owned by a payment processor, the processor flow may be the controlling acceptance process for that payment authorization.

Communications

Users authorize Invos to send transactional, administrative, security, billing, support, document, payment, product-operation, and service notices. Users may also receive product updates, announcements, feature launches, educational content, or marketing communications, with unsubscribe options where required.

Users are responsible for customer-facing communications they send through Invos and for having the required consent, authority, unsubscribe handling, and lawful basis for those communications.

Acceptable Use

  • Do not use Invos for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or harmful activity.
  • Do not interfere with the service, bypass access controls, probe systems without authorization, introduce malicious code, or misuse security features.
  • Do not reverse engineer, scrape, crawl, harvest, resell, sublicense, or provide automated access to Invos except as expressly allowed by us in writing.
  • Do not upload content that infringes rights, violates law, creates legal or security risk, or contains sensitive information without proper authority.
  • Do not use Invos to send spam or communications that violate applicable consent, unsubscribe, or anti-abuse rules.

Content Removal and Account Restrictions

We may remove, restrict, or disable access to content if we believe it is illegal, infringing, harmful, abusive, deceptive, risky, or likely to violate these terms. We may suspend or terminate access for terms violations, security risk, non-payment, suspected fraud or abuse, legal risk, harm to the service or other users, or where required by law.

Third-Party Services and Integrations

Invos may connect with third-party services such as payment processors, accounting platforms, email providers, hosting providers, analytics tools, monitoring providers, and other integrations. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies.

Third-party integrations may change, break, pause, or stop working if a third party changes its API, pricing, terms, availability, security requirements, or product behavior. Invos is not responsible for third-party services outside its control.

Intellectual Property

Invos owns the app, software, workflows, brand, templates, user interface, documentation, and platform intellectual property. Users own their business data, customer records, uploaded content, and generated records, subject to the rights Invos needs to operate, secure, support, maintain, and improve the service.

Users grant Invos a limited right to host, process, transmit, display, reproduce, and use user content and business records only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service and comply with applicable obligations.

Service Availability and Changes

We aim to keep Invos reliable, but the service may be interrupted, delayed, changed, or unavailable from time to time. We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features as the product evolves.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Invos is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties not expressly stated in these terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Invos will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Invos' total liability for claims related to the service is limited to the amount paid to Invos for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Assignment and Future Entity Transfer

We may transfer or assign these terms, the service, related assets, intellectual property, user accounts, and business operations in connection with a corporate reorganization, incorporation of a new operating entity, financing, merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or the service will be handled in the courts located in British Columbia, Canada, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Notices

We may provide notices by email, in-app notice, posting in the app, or posting on the public website. Users may send notices or questions to support@invosapp.com.

We may update these terms as the product, business, legal requirements, pricing, operating entity, or available markets change. The updated terms will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.
